How to change your .spacemacs configuration file

Use the shortcut SPACE f e d:

shows the find-dotfile option in Spacemacs

This will open your .spacemacs file:

shows spacemacs config file in the editor

Make sure to save your file (SPACE f s) then restart Spacemacs (SPACE q r), to make sure your changes take effect:

shows restart-emacs-resume-layouts menu option in Spacemacs
